Beer-Hats are made from brand new beer cases, purchased directly through the beer companies. This is made possible by our licensing contracts.

3. Which breweries is BeerHatsOnline.com licensed with?
Coors Brewing Company, Miller Brewing Company, The Pabst Family of Breweries, and Molson Canada. Negotiations are happening with other companies at this time. At this time, the list includes Anheuser-Busch and Labatt.

4. I’ve seen your hats on other websites. Who actually makes them?
Montana International, LLC is the name of the company that holds the patent protection, and produces the hats. BeerHatsOnline.com is the website owned by Montana International, LLC. When you see our hats on other websites, they are being sold through our distributors.

5. Why would I buy a Beer-Hat when I could probably figure out how to make one myself?
The look of the Beer-Hat has developed and matured over the years from a clumsy looking hat cut out by hand and held together with staples to something that is grabbing everyone’s attention. The patterns for the hat are cut from a precision cutting die using a heavy-duty hydraulic press that makes every hat the same. The hats are then assembled and sewn together using industrial sewing machines. While it may be possible to create your own, we’re confident that our hats look professionally made and “store-bought.”

6. Is there a patent on the Beer-Hat?
Yes, these hats are protected by a patent through the US Patent and Trademark Office.
